About PCN

People of Color Network (PCN) is a non-profit Provider Network Organization providing behavioral health services designed to promote service delivery through collaboration, culturally responsive services and family involvement for children, youth and adult in Maricopa County. As a network of quality community-based organizations, our focus is reaching out to serve diverse communities. Our behavioral health partners seek to reach more people with unique cultures in a respectful manner with higher order prevention and intervention programs. PCN provides services for adult with a serious mental illness diagnosis at three clinics and for children with intense case management requirements.

THE NETWORK - History

PCN was born out of the need to better serve and represent people of color in our communities. The network was formed in 2000 by caring social services leaders, the State and the Maricopa County's Regional Behavioral Authority (RBHA) to help close the gap and better serve the significant number of culturally diverse families eligible to receive behavioral health services, especially around the issue of substance abuse prevention and treatment. The founding members were Centro de Amistad, Chicanos Por La Causa, Ebony House, Friendly House and Native American Connections with Empact Suicide Prevention Center joining in 2008.

THE NETWORK - Affiliate Partners

Our diverse network of community-based partners Chicanos Por La Causa, Native American Connections, Empact, Ebony House, and Centro de Amistad serve adults, children, youth and families throughout Arizona. In addition, Friendly House works with diverse communities providing education, social services and other social support and advocacy program.
