Amy Chu, MSN, APRN, ANP-C, FNP-C is a dual-certified Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of diverse clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and telehealth. She currently serves as the Clinical and Operations Leader for Advanced Practice Providers at Dispatch Health Urgent Care in South Florida, where she oversees more than 20 nurse practitioners and physician assistants, driving excellence in clinical care and operational performance.

In addition to her leadership role, Amy provides in-home visits for aged and disabled patients through United Healthcare, promoting a multidisciplinary model of care. Her collaborative approach with physicians, therapists, and social workers ensures comprehensive, patient-centered treatment across the continuum of care.

Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida International University as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and holds a post-graduate certification in Family Practice. She began her career in emergency medicine, developing expertise in acute care and crisis management, and later transitioned to urgent care and telehealth to expand access to high-quality care.

Recognized with multiple awards for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and leadership, Amy has led initiatives to improve workflow efficiency, quality metrics, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a passionate advocate for nurse practitioner autonomy and has participated in legislative advocacy at the Florida state level.

Amy also serves as a board member of the Miami-Dade Council of Nurse Practitioners, where she helped organize the organization’s inaugural annual conference. Her work continues to elevate nursing practice and improve healthcare delivery.
