In a study, researchers examined the impact of acupuncture, as well as aimed to detect rhythmic salivary metabolites in patients with mobile phone addiction with sleep disorder (MPASD). Approximately 58% of patients with mobile phone addiction and 46% with MPASD were recognized amid 121 volunteers. It was found that 6 patients with MPASD experienced considerable alleviation following intervention of acupuncture. Rhythmic saliva metabolite numbers fell abruptly in participants with MPASD, restoring following acupuncture. The researchers’ findings saw circadian rhythm features of salivary metabolites in MPASD, with acupuncture improving this in repairing part of dysrhythmia salivary metabolites.
