Brian Pervis, DNP, APRN, AP-PMN, PGMT-BC, GERO-BC, WCC, FNP-C, DAPWCA, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Integrative Pain and Psych Care, a nurse-led clinic providing integrative, evidence-based treatment for pain and behavioral health conditions. His practice is highly rated for its compassionate, patient-centered approach, emphasizing holistic healing and functional recovery for individuals living with chronic pain.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Pervis serves in academic leadership within nurse practitioner education, supporting curriculum innovation, faculty mentorship, and simulation-enhanced teaching strategies that prepare future advanced practice nurses for safe, equitable care. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University, where his doctoral project implemented an opioid use disorder (OUD) screening tool to improve early detection and patient safety in clinical settings.
Dr. Pervis’s scholarship focuses on disparities in pain care, trauma-informed practice, and justice-oriented health policy. He has published and co-authored position statements in Pain Management Nursing, addressing inequities in pain assessment and treatment. As an active member of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing, he contributes to advancing equitable and person-centered pain management standards nationally.
Passionate about mentorship and advocacy, Dr. Pervis partners with Black Men In White Coats and community health initiatives to inspire the next generation of clinicians and promote diversity, inclusion, and leadership within nursing and advanced practice.
