Kimberly Fields Giberga, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 16 years of clinical experience. She is the founder and clinical lead of Salado Creek Mental Health, a psychiatric clinic she launched in 2023 that now includes four full-time providers serving patients in an underserved region of Texas.
Kimberly earned her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami. Her career is defined by a consistent record of clinical excellence, program development, and patient-centered innovation. She is a frequent speaker and continuing education presenter at state and regional conferences.
A recognized leader in the advanced practice community, Kimberly is the founder of Female Providers of San Antonio, the city’s largest interdisciplinary provider organization, now encompassing more than 735 members. The group brings together nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians for monthly networking, mentorship, and professional development events designed to foster collaboration and support at all career stages.
Kimberly has also created and delivered accredited continuing education programs through her former company, Excellence in Advanced Practice, and serves on the speaker’s bureau and advisory panels for pharmaceutical organizations.
Her honors include the 2023 State of Texas Healthcare Hero Award, multiple patient satisfaction awards (2018–2023),and is a Coca-Cola Scholar Award recipient. Kimberly remains passionate about expanding access to mental healthcare, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering evidence-based, compassionate care in every setting.
