Whitney was born in Panama City, Florida, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2021. Her nursing career began in the emergency room, and travel nursing eventually led her to the beautiful town of Sandpoint, Idaho, where she now works as a nurse practitioner in post-acute and long-term care.

Working in geriatrics has become one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. She feels honored to care for the generations who came before us—listening to their stories, learning from their wisdom, and advocating to ensure their voices and wishes are respected. Each day reinforces her belief that she is exactly where she is meant to be.

Outside of work, Whitney is happiest outdoors, whether hiking, boating, camping, or simply watching the sun set over Idaho’s mountains and lakes. She also loves cooking and caring for her ever-growing collection of houseplants, both of which bring her a sense of creativity and calm.
