U.S. News & World Report released its 2023-2024 rankings for the top cardiology and heart surgery hospitals in the U.S. Cleveland Clinic in Ohio ranked as the number-one hospital for cardiology and heart surgery. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles ranked number two. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, dropped to number three after holding the second position last year. Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City moved up to the fourth spot, and New York University, Langone Hospitals, maintained the fifth position.

The rankings evaluated 779 hospitals, with the top 50 hospitals recognized for their expertise in treating challenging heart and vascular cases, including heart transplants, cardiac device implantations, major chest procedures, and complex cardiovascular conditions.
