Nominations Open For 2022 America’s Top PA/NP Awards In Coordination With AAPA 2022 Conference

America’s Top PA (ATPA) and NP (ATNP) Awards, hosted by POCN, recognizes healthcare professionals annually to highlight dedication to industry.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – May 18, 2022 – For the sixth consecutive year, POCN, the largest and most trusted network of Physician Associates (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs), is honoring 2022 healthcare heroes for their extraordinary contributions to support patient care, their local communities, and their fellow frontline workers. Nominations for both awards, America’s Top PA (ATPA) and America’s Top NP (ATNP), are now officially open on POCN’s website. Attendees of the American Association of PAs 2022 Conference, May 21-25 in Indianapolis, IN, will be given first access to nominate peers.

POCN and the ATPA and ATNP Awards annually recognize outstanding PAs and NPs and further demonstrate POCN’s commitment to advance the healthcare profession. Winners of America’s Top PAs and NPs will receive:

  • $150 to use toward a professional membership of choice (For PA Winners)
  • One-year paid membership to the American Association of NPs (For NP Winners)
  • Recognition and press exposure in healthcare media, including on POCN social media and web properties (such as feature videos on POCN+ and POCN.com)
  • Ability to serve as an advisor to POCN, helping to advance educational programs in support of the PA and NP community

“We are excited to bring the America’s Top awards to this year’s AAPA. PAs and NPs are one of the fastest growing sectors in the healthcare field, and they play a critical role in patient care, diagnosis and treatment,” says Richard Zwickel, Founder and CEO of POCN. “Our healthcare workers have gone above-and-beyond over the last several years and are the true heroes. With these awards, we aim to recognize these frontline workers and tell their stories.”

POCN’s mission is to bring PAs and NPs together to network, share ideas, and create a strong foundation of providers. POCN Ambassadors will speak at booth 1223 at AAPA 2022 on topics affecting today’s PAs:

  • “When the PA is the Patient – The Need for PA Self-Advocacy” – Barb Regis MS, PA-C, FAAPA, MPLC: Sunday, May 22, 12-12:20 p.m.

About POCN

POCN is the largest and most informed network of 400,000 NPs and PAs. The organization is trusted by government organizations, medical associations, providers, pharma and life sciences companies to help advocate for NP/PA clinical decision-making resources. POCN achieves this by helping healthcare organizations make more informed decisions to improve patient outcomes. Often, treatment data does not accurately attribute treatment decision-making correctly to a NP or PA. POCN has a proprietary data mining approach which allows the organization to uncover ‘true’ treatment prescribers. As the role of NPs and PAs continues to evolve and expand in the healthcare landscape, POCN is dedicated to helping organizations such as the Breathe Better Network, APP associations and industry partners in identifying and bringing awareness to APPs for therapeutic updates and clinical education programs.
