Viet Le, DMSc MPAS PA-C FACC FAHA HF-Cert is an Associate Professor of Research at Intermountain Health and Preventive Cardiology PA with over 20 years of practice. He has a bachelor’s in exercise science/athletic training, a master’s degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of Utah School of Medicine, and his Doctor of Medical Science in Health Professions Education from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
He co-directs the Preventive Cardiology Clinic at Intermountain Medical Center, Intermountain Health, and serves as an Investigator on multiple sponsored/investigator-initiated cardiovascular clinical trials. He has authored/co-authored over 50 publications. His current healthcare foci are patient-centered care, improved shared decision-making processes, cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic health, and preventive cardiology.
He is the past president of the Academy of PAs in Cardiology and Utah Academy of PAs, a past Co-Chair of the American College of Cardiology PA Work Group, and serves/has served on several ACC committees, and is the current Editor-in-Chief of the ACC CardioSmart Committee.
