Dr. Tajuana Lordeus has practiced as a physician assistant (PA) for 24 years, serving in diverse areas of medicine since graduating from Central Michigan University’s PA Program in 2002. For the past nine years, her full-time clinical focus has been psychiatry, with seven years devoted primarily to geriatric populations. Since June 2023, she has served as a Behavioral Health Clinical Advisor and Behavioral Health Auditor for psychiatry providers caring primarily for adults age 65 and older. In February 2026, she joined the Senior Care Community’s Comprehensive Behavioral Review Team, providing consultation for psychiatrically complex skilled nursing facility residents.

Dr. Lordeus is passionate about mentorship, education, service, and helping others achieve their goals. Her community involvement includes volunteerism, CPR instruction, and health education for churches, schools, businesses, and community groups. She completed the Mayo Clinic Health & Wellness Coaching Program in 2015.

She earned her Doctor of Medical Science degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2022 and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry. She has authored two children’s books and helped bring Mental Health Summits to her Southeast Raleigh church community in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

A frequent speaker, Dr. Lordeus has presented at national and state PA conferences, including AAPA, NCAPA, and SDAPA, and for AAPA’s Women in Philanthropy. She serves on boards supporting PA education, healthcare, and philanthropy, including Lawrence Technological University’s PA Program, the NCCPA Health Foundation, and TriUnity Healthcare.

Dr. Lordeus remains active at Gethsemane SDA Church, where she currently serves on the deaconess board after previously serving in several ministry leadership and teaching roles. She and her husband, Dr. Jean Lordeus, previously served as Family Life Leaders. Her interests include traveling, reading, exercising, and embracing new experiences. She especially values meaningful relationships, lifelong learning, professional collaboration, and opportunities to strengthen communities.
