Viet Le, DMSc, PA-C, FACC, FAHA, FASPC, HF-CERT, is the 2026 American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) PA of the Year. He is an Associate Professor of Research at Intermountain Health, co-director of the Advanced Lipid and Cardiovascular Prevention Clinic, and Editor of ACC CardioSmart. A nationally recognized leader in preventive cardiology, cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic health, research, and PA education, he has authored more than 50 publications and served in leadership roles with APAC, UAPA, and the American College of Cardiology. Through clinical care, research, advocacy, and mentorship, he has dedicated his career to advancing patient-centered care and elevating the PA profession.
