This randomized controlled trial evaluated an Instagram-based stigma-reduction intervention targeting daily Instagram users aged 18 to 49 years without psoriasis. The results showed that the intervention group had significantly fewer disease-related misconceptions compared to the control group immediately after intervention and two weeks later. Additionally, the intervention group exhibited a significant reduction over time in stereotype endorsement and disease-related misconceptions. These findings suggest that addressing psoriasis on Instagram has the potential to effectively reduce the stigmatization associated with the condition.
